Oct. 6 - Complete the Parts of Speech Exercise; Write answers in English in your "Práctica section of your cuaderno:
1) write 4 adjectives that describe you
2) write 4 nouns of things you like
3) write 4 verbs of things you like to do
4) List the names of your immediate family members, can include pets
5) Where are you from? (city name)
6) A favorite saying or Bible verse

Oct. 20 - Translate your Parts of Speech Exercise about YOU into Spanish.

Oct. 27 - Write your 8 new table names in complete sentences all in Spanish. They can be simple sentences, but you should only use Spanish that you know.
Oct. 29 - No School; Parent-teacher conferences
Nov. 3 - Write your "Parts of Speech Exercise" all in SPN on a separate page (loose leaf) to turn in on Thu.; translate the Día de los Muertos vocab. words on the purple handout

Nov. 12 - Make a "Navidad" card for our sister school in Guatemala - Santa Eulalia. Include colored pictures and Spanish Christmas words.
Nov. 17 - Complete Papel Picado, Reflection & Christmas card for Sister School if you did not already turn them in
Nov. 19 - Work on your WORD CLOUD (using the parts of speech exercise we did for words that describe you). We will work on them during class on Tue. Nov. 26 using the Chromebooks - they are due at the end of class.
Nov. 24 - Finish your Word Cloud and send it or share it to my email: [email protected]. Use either tagul.com or abcya.com for creating your word cloud on the computer. Please check out the steps on my SPN web page if you have trouble "sharing" it. Take note: 1) your SPN name should be the largest word, 2) you do not need to add articles (el/la...) before your nouns, 3) if you can't get the accents on needed vowels, just type the regular letter and you can add the accent on your printed copy, 4) you don't need to include your quote/saying--we will hand write that at the end, 5) for family names, write them in English but write the SPN relation word (ex. "hermana Teresa"). To put a space between connected words, type the shift & tilde keys. Email me if you have any questions.
