Oct. 12 - No School - Teacher Work Day
Oct. 14 - Color all the pictures from your ABC page (both sides) - do not use marker as it will bleed through; practice letters A-S and the Padre Nuestro.
Oct. 19 - Study/practice the entire Spanish alphabet
Oct. 21 - Spell out your SPN name with the "phonetic spelling (how it sounds) in SPN; write this in the "Práctica" section of your notebook
Oct. 26 - Practice introducing yourself to family and friends with "Me llamo..."; Color Word handout - write SPN color words on lines provided and color pictures (we will do sentence part on back of handout together in class)
Oct. 28 - No class. Field Trip to Papillion Manor.
Nov. 2 - No school
Nov. 4 - Practice the SPN color words; complete the Buscapalabras (Word Search) and translate the vocab words for el Día de los Muertos
Nov. 9 - Study color words & ABC's; finish your "máscara" on your own. I will display the best 3 from each class on our bulletin board.
Nov. 11 - Change for quiz: it will be Wed. Nov. 18 (because of MAP testing); The quiz will be over color words and being able to use the alphabet to spell your name and other words
Nov. 16 - Study color words and ABC and being able to spell your name and other words for quiz on Wed. Nov. 18.
Nov. 18 - Nada (we'll finish the quiz on Mon. Nov. 23.)
Nov. 23 - Practice the Padre Nuestro Prayer over the Break.
Nov. 25 - No School - Thanksgiving Break. ¡Feliz día de la Acción de Gracias!

Dec. 2 - On loose leaf paper, in English, do these two exercises: 1) Write a simple conversation between two people that is 1/2 page long (use a different line for each sentence/question that is said) 2) Write a list of what you think are the "Top 10" manner words that everyone should know and use
Dec. 7 - Intro. yourself in SPN to 5 different people outside of school
Dec. 9 - Try using the 6 new manner words (listed in vocab section) that you've learned in Spanish whenever you would use them in English.
Dec. 14 - Study the list of SPN manner words or phrases
Dec. 16 - Practice Padre Nuestro over Break - record on green 1/2 sheet; ¡Feliz Navidad!
